I decided to upload a YouTube short everyday for 30 days to see what the results would be. What would the results be of daily uploading? Insane growth? Or a massive waste of time. The results of posting consistent YouTube shorts, was key in my growth as a creator over a 30 day span. Uploading everyday, caused some pretty insane growth for my channel, and maybe it can have similar results for you as well. This is quite relatable for I've been uploading shorts for about 2 weeks now daily and I've got a lot of views and subscribers and I think the shorts tend to take 8 hours to 5 days to get in to the short algorithm when they really start to get views.

I began posting shorts a couple of months ago ("management skills and routines" is my niche) and somewhat neglected long-form vids during that time. Now I'm trying to find a balance between the two, posting long form as well. Yesterday, I posted a short (on comparison metrics, using football players to illustrate). It skyrocketed in views (more than one thousand in less than 24 hours) but I'm still unsure as to what made the Google algorithm notice and push it out. Anyway, your experience is very helpful! I've been doing YouTube for about a year I have 125 subscribers and I have been posting between 3 and 5 videos a week. I think I'm going to commit to posting a short everyday for 45 days and see if I can replicate your results. I am ecstatic every time I get one subscriber! It is painful how slow it is to grow. I have an idea for a series that would be 110 videos and I have a second idea that could probably get me another hundred videos so 45 seems like a good commitment as it would get me a good start, and I'm sure more ideas will come in time. I wasn’t convinced of the value of shorts initially, but now I’m seeing the opportunities. Different types of content, that you maybe wouldn’t use in full length videos. I think they are useful and well worth trying, as you say quality over quantity. I was trying to find info on a shorts posting schedule and found this video.
