How to Set Character Limit in Excel - Tutorial

Excel tutorial on how to set character limits in Excel cells.

In this example, we'll limit the character length in cells that will be used for a state field. The cells will need to be restricted to entries of only 2 characters (to fit the state abbreviation).

We then customize the error warning so that the user understands the error and how they can fix it.

I have a question with the following criteria.


There is a unique code with 10 digits - HRC0002001, I wan't to set up like this


Its should not be more than 10 characters
If user enter the character less than 10. Its should get colored with red.
