Our cat trailed my son & me on a walk. Two rotties broke through a neighbor's garage door panels & charged us across their substantial front lawn. The cat charged the dogs & sent them running in the opposite direction. I had never seen a cat do that before & it really impressed me! Thank you kitty!

Just remember the cats doing these things have not had their claws trimmed down or removed. Their claws are their main weapon. That would be like removing all the teeth in a dog.

What I found fascinating about cats is that their reaction speed is faster than the strike of a snake. So no matter how fast the snake is, the cat will always dodge! No wonder why the Egyptians viewed cats as guardians from evil (referring to Apep the serpent)

I'm 73 but I remember when I was young a big German Shepherd that terrorized the neighborhood when he was loose, came running into our yard at my parents big white cat. He just squatted down in the grass and when the dog came in for the kill Casper, the cat, jumped into the dogs face & knocked him down, I didn't think he could, and then after clawing & biting the dogs face chased him out into the road & finally walked back into our yard and laid down to see if that big dog wanted to do it again.
