A Quick Body Build! 'KiLLERBODY' LAND CRUiSER LC70 4WD Kit / RC4WD TF2 LWB | RC ADVENTURES

This build took me two afternoons to complete - but filming a process like this takes so much more time. Expect to spend 3 hours on it, with painting time being additional. This is the "Killer Body" Toyota Land Cruiser LC70 (Version 1). Version two is currently under design, beefing up capabilities and strength in the plastic. I found this version rather brittle, but manageable for a "Sunday Driver" out on the trail.

The scale appearance of this truck body kit is fantastic, and I really am happy with the attention to detail, "bling" and amount of "extra's" are in included (ie: Snorkel, Fender Flares, Hood Scoop, Functional pieces like the tail gate and doors.) For the doors and hoods to operate on their own, you must supply your own hinges, but this kit gives you a lot of hardware that is "extra" in the bag. I always like to see that. Also, make sure not to over tighten your screws, as I experienced some stress cracks in the doors. a little repair will fix that, no problem.

Enjoy the film!

I like the Casey Neistat style editing of this video, very slick. For the decals like the windshield decal i often submerse the decal in some warm soapy water first, then i can position the decal easier.

Wow! I definitely love the scale look of that truck! I wish someone would make a 1994 GMC extended cab short box body so I could run a mini version of my actual truck. Cant wait to see that truck hit the trail for some scale trailing! Great work, I always enjoy your build videos! Reminds me of when I was watching Topkick Overkill plow snow for the first time! (Now thats a throwback )

Watching this channel has got me back into the rc hobby, just ordered a trail finder 2 kit with the 79 series Cruiser body, also converting my xray t4 touring car into an rc drift car and want to make a 1/10 scale car trailer for it. Thanks Medic for inspiring me back into the hobby

It’s actually funny, I did a paint job on mine today... it went as you said “drastically wrong” 😂 buddy gave me some paint that was color shifting! Dope right! I cleaned up the body and rattled the hell out of the can as always but somehow failed to notice it was a spray wrap and without a base paint it won’t adhere to plastic, good news is that it wasn’t terrible to clean off and repaint but what a pain! I’m now watching this for like the third time as I wait for paint to dry. Thanks for the entertainment and the call out 😂

That is freaking awesome that killer bodies includes a right hand or left hand dashboard in their kit that's thinking ahead more company should do stuff like that

You ALWAYS wanna use flush cutters to separate the parts from the sprue and use a hobby knife to shave any remaining sprue plastic from the plastic pieces. The reason for this is to prevent your parts from having those ugly separation scars that will show up after paint. Some guys go another step farther and use body filler to cover up any scars and imperfections. That being said, the model kits coming out of Japan are top notch. They are very smart about where the sprues are attached to the parts and the crispness of the details are unbelievable.

I'm loving the Land Cruiser build!!! Keep putting out awesome content!!
