Be that one weirdo that sees the choice between a CX5, RAV4, and CR-V and decides on a Dodge Hornet

Very clever audio edit at the beginning there, I bet no one will ever notice.

Did Doug just say all new cars are good? Are you kidding me, there’s a lot of great cars now, a lot of cars that are just plain stupid.

Most cars are good now, they can do well in the elements to get you where you need to go safely and have all the luxuries. Not much else you need unless your an enthusiast

The best car to “own” is the one you can buy in cash that’s already depreciated. Your welcome.

Maybe they’re all nice and good when they’re new. Longevity, reliability and maintenance are top tier of importance

I've grown up on Mazdas. They come in a variety of needs. My hatchback 3 has carried everything for college for me clothes supplies everything the only thing I couldn't bring is furniture. And if you need something bigger just go with one of the crossover midels like the cx9.

Funny, I talk to my car like it’s incompetent. Then I forget its first language is Korean. 😅

Despite the boring look of parking lots full of small crossover-ish SUVs, he has a point. Most of those are pretty reliable and well equipped. In 1989 my sister had a manual Mercury tracer. The whole thing was manual. Everything was levers and no electricity except for the bare bones necessities to run a car and listen to music out of tin cans. Even the econo cars below those mentioned SUVs tend to have some comforts that would have been reserved for luxury cars only a dozen or so years back.

Literally what he said. Really no clear bad cars except maybe some Mitsubishi which are super cheap/slow/rough around the edges.

Model y is a great car if you have charging at home. Get the later model year versions (2023+). Early models had meh build quality

Opel corsa b... Cost nothing, wants nothing, is nothing drives from a to b

Slightly out of touch with society, some of those models are 2 L turbo engines with turbo problems and CVT transmissions with transmission problems. I don't call those reliable stable because they cost an arm and a leg for people to keep on the road or going into negative equity When they have to roll over their finance into the next one

He said cx5 most reliable suv trouble free for long time. Rav4 trashy brakes, crvs head gasket .
