I drove home from work in 6 inches of snow. In my Corolla. I was passing Camaros, Chargers, in the ditch. Great little car.

Best car ever for anybody, not just teenagers. No other car will save you more $$$ on maintenance, insurance, repair, and gas than Corolla...

Spot on!! Hell I'm 44 and I bought mine after having 2 Accords and a Camry and I love it lol. Same color 2014. Just had it serviced at 108k and the shop owner said it's in fantastic shape! Taken it thru Colorado, South Dakota, Arkansas, national parks, mountain ranges and it's been a champ! I hope to go 300-400k if itll let me lol

Maybe it makes a good last car too, especially in situations where older people don't plan to drive much anyway. Works best with short people, too, and as I age, I am getting shorter, so . . .

I bought my 03 corolla for 600bucks best deal of my life. been driving it for years. It's crazy how dramatically the market has changed now they want an arm and leg for em. Even the ones with high milage are expensive now.

I have this exact model. 2014 Toyota Corolla S. I bought it summer of 2014. It STILL runs great. Doesn’t burn through gas. Not a race car but like that it has a tiny kick to it. Not one issue. I mean, NOT ONE. I think it’ll reach the 250, 000 mile mark for me. First car I ever bought.

My dad had a 79 Corolla, and I'm pretty sure critical rust and corrosion will take the car first before engine failure does. We dont really do long range driving often so it only had 600k miles on it

2010 Corolla, 161k miles and still going strong. It's surprisingly fast still if you change your spark plugs at this mileage
With proper maintenance a Corolla should be able to last 300k without major issues. I think this car is still going to be working when I have kids in a decade or so

I love Corollas! My 2010 has 108, 000 miles and I will make sure it will last forever.

Toyota for sure! I woulda said Camry but yeah. Love seeing the 89-93 Camry on the streets, they're timeless and ageless.

First car I ever drove in was my dad's 2002 Corolla. Thing was a beast. Only major repair it needed was a battery. He's still got it. 207k miles and still going strong

I bought a new one in 2014. Great car still drive it. Low mileage. Great on gas and drives nice. Little mechanical cost. Just the normal oil ( Always used synthetic oil - Negotiated free oil changes for 8 changes) and engine service with filter changes only. Didn't have to change brakes until after 120, 000 miles. I did have problem with replacing battery. I then went to Canadian Tire got a battery with guarantee for 7 years and free tow service if battery fails in that time frame. It also has the trac control if road is really slippery or I get stuck. It knocks the car into giving a better traction control caused by this vibration until you get back on trac.

I just bought my third Toyota Corolla. I buy them as second cars to keep the miles off my truck. Possibly the most boring vehicle on the road to drive, but they last forever, and get great gas mileage. It’s about the most reliable vehicle you can buy. Seems like nothing ever goes wrong with them.

I’ve had mines for over 11 years, no major problems, very good on gas and maintenance.

I also recommend a 4th gen 4Runner in nice condition. I bought mine with 200k mile limited edition with the 4.7 v8 in it. I love it as a first car wouldn’t get anything else
