Wow thanks this short is exactly what I needed to see I bought my first 1/10 Oz Gold Eagle the other day weighed it on the same scale as you had and it came out at 3.42g I thought it was supposed to be 3.393g on the dot. But I feel safer knowing that they weigh slightly heavier than the official weight.

Best bet is to purchase from a reputable source. Kinda sucks that smaller sellers who sell legit precious metals are goijg to be thown under the bus along with the scammers because as the market gets flooded with fakes, more and more people are going to buy from well established sources instead.

If you know what gold looks like the color really gives a dead giveaway for a fake coin I don’t really know why they add copper to the mix of it tho I don’t like rose gold that much honestly

Yea they are counterfeiting key dates and the certification slabs as well. And they are good!
