For those wondering the app is bedrock together then make sure your console and phone are connected to the same wifi then put in the ip and boom it should be in your friends

You can also change your console dns, and without any other devices a window will show up every time you join a recommended server, where you can add a custom server and join them

The only way to join servers on ps4 (that i know of) is to add someone who is always on and join them
