So basically Atrocitus is a misguided anti hero. I dig it

One thing I find funny about these origins so far is how Larfleeze's way of becoming a Lantern is so far very different from Saint Walker and Atrocitus.

Atrocitus: All his family was murdered so he vowed revenge and used the blood magic of the allies he beat to death to make a lantern filled with his pure rage.

Saint Walker: His family all died but he retained his strong hope which drew the first Blue Power ring to him making him a Blue Lantern.

Larfleeze: Came to the wrong place.

The other two had a strong bond with their respective emotion while Larfleeze just happened upon the lantern and was controlled by it.

Great story. I think Atrocitus has a great design & backstory.
I'm liking these lantern backstories.

he reminds me a lot of Kratos from God of war simply because Atrocitus and Kratos have both been fucked over and want revenge. Atrocitus is so sick... ever since i saw him in the injustice 2 roster and trailer i have been digging deep in his origins and man.. he's one of my favorite DC villains now. He seems like an anti hero out for revenge. Love him!
