Somewhere I have read that pralay even being a missile will cost less than 5 crore...but solar group has said that their rocket missile will cost 8 crore a piece...
Solar group have to make some cost cut then only it will be feasible for army to procure them...

I am happy that Indian Navy had gone for asymmetric warfare...as we can't make submarines in race with China..they are costly system... because they move underwater...and have other extreme structural and maintenance requirements..but surface ships don't have that requirement in our own waters..so they are cheaper..

I can't understand why IA need years long assessment for a homegrown system with a record range of 48 km. If it was developed in China, PLA would've at least 120 such systems by now.

I knew it Army will reject ATAGS, the day it was sent for never ending trials. Indian Army want ATHOS from Israel, which is disgusting to MAKE IN INDIA campaign in the Defence Market. What I think about ATAGS is that it is a top product in its class, but Army want brands, tags of foreign product.

Can Bharat 52 handle 7 charge?? And what is the use of atags completing high altitude trials if they have weight issue with it in the first place. Towed artillery requirements is big so ordered atags and also if they want a lighter towed gun, then let them issue RFI or whatever sh**t they want.
