How do you still not have animated SVG?!

hope to see the ability to export animated SVG file instead of SVG sequence one day, SVG is already capable of storing animated vertices data and fill/gradient animations, so it leaves MOHO to catch-up with SVG.

How about keeping Illustrator layers intact, huh?

Talk about disappointment. I was in the process of trying to animate a project in the latest Moho Pro 13 but it's been a nightmare. For as much as Moho Pro costs, you would think that it could handle importing .svg files with layers. I just wasted an hour or so trying to figure out why my designs are borked when importing layered .svg files from Affinity Designer. I thought I did something wrong on export. I exported my layered .svg files to Inkscape, no problems. Imported the same .svg files back into Affinity Designer to see if something was amiss there. Nope, no problems. I even removed the layers and tried to import the layer-less .svg designs into Moho pro 13. No love, the files imported borked again and again with all of the color data wrecked producing black silhouetted images each time and the image was incomplete as well missing a section even though the exact same file imported into Inkscape fully intact with the correct color data. Don't get me started on trying to import .eps files. Any vector graphic exported from Affinity Designer as a .eps file flat out won't load in Moho Pro 13.

That led me to the conclusion that the problem isn't the files, it's simply Moho sucks when trying to handle vector files that aren't made in very specific, very limited ways. I regret paying for this.

Still no way of importing svg files with layers.

This feature is not useful. It's a huge mess importing complex SVG illustrations into MOHO. Your layers are lost and the points get crazy in MOHO. We would like to see the layers and the points retained please.

Anyone ever try importing vectors from Clip Studio? Judging from the disappointment evident in the other posts, I'm guessing it doesn't work.

Completely new to Moho/ Anime Studio. Is there a quick way to separate layers of an imported svg in Moho's layer palette? I notice the svg comes in as editable vector objects, but they seem to all be on a single layer, unlike in Illustrator where the file was created. I'm finding I can select each object, cut it, and paste it into a new layer, but I was wondering if there was a more efficient way to do this. Thanks!

Your application does not import any Adobe Illustrator 8 and earlier and SVG files properly. All are imported corrupted.

My biggest issue with the software has always been having to draw all these little pieces of a character in flash, saving them as SWFs, and then applying them to an existing rig by swapping out the vector images. It's crazy time consuming.

hope to see simple SVG file suport. i export from adobe animate svg and guess what: - nothing. moho12 cant open it.
inkscape can open it, but after resave as svg in inskape, moho12 cant open it. In meantime moho12 opens svg files created in inkscape.
next:
i must reopen my flash created svg in illustrator and resave it as old illustrator 8 wtf.
instead you advertize some bling blong svg sequence tutorial!

i dont use illustrator as my vector creation tool.

Im using CorelDraw, and this isn't so seamless, I think it may be an issue with coreldraw though, its always had a hard time exporting svg and eps files for me. Don't know if anyone else is having the same problem...

It's a real pity you don't have a commercial version of MOHO for Linux. It would be enormously popular!
