Adding velocities (in terms of beta) is just slightly harder than v1 + v2, 'cuz Einstein needs to make sure that the sum is never greater than 1.

We'll see in the next video how 0.5 plus 0.9 is less than one with our nifty equation.

This is the element I was searching for years. I have been asking the same question to myself which he asked in the beginning of the video for past 2 years.
Now I understood the special theory of relativity completely.
Thank you so

You are my savior! I could not wrap my head around all this U'x, Ux, V etc. business and which frames of reference they're assigned to. But you have put it in simpler terms that are clear and easy to understand. And my test is in 12 hours so this is EXCELLENT. Much thanks.

I'mma correct that for you:

Recently, SLOPPY ERRORS DURING experiments have FOOLISHLY indicated that speed of light can be surpassed. It would be interesting to see how these theories workout.

Reconciling these "results" with the millions of experiments PER DAY that confirm the limit of light speed is where the fun would be. I don't believe a word of it.

Awesome video. Great and easy-to-grasp explanation of such a complicated formula.
