Story 1 Yeah that's definitely on the parents, they should have made sure all doors and windows including the sliding glass doors were locked before leaving their kid home alone.
Story 2 Sounds very creepy to me! Sounds like these Men are definitely up to no good, maybe possibly they're trying to rob him.
Story 3 When you're left home alone for the first time and you're a kid it can be pretty scary then somebody comes knocking at your door.
Story 4 That pretty creepy to come home and find your back door open, very mysterious possibility somebody's broken into your house and not just a careless roommate leaving the back door open but then it's possible that maybe your roommate accidentally left it unlocked but not open.
Story 5 Not a good idea to just leave your door unlocked for a friend when anybody could just come walking into your house and you thinking it's just your friend, putting you in danger of almost anything happening.

When I was a teen someone broke into our house while I was home. Luckily the room they broke into was locked with a key on the outside of the door. We have a pretty good idea of who it was and what they was after. When my mom pulled in the driveway they hopped back out the window and ran towards the house of the person of who we really think it was.
