Learn how to insert and customise gridlines in Word AND assign a shortcut key to the gridline option. Gridlines are incredibly helpful when designing posters, flyers, letters, tables and artwork. They allow you to easily align drawing tools, text boxes and shapes by snapping to the lines. No more arrow key nudging or misaligning objects - this makes things really simple and easy.

Gridlines don't automatically fit perfectly to your default document so there are certain tools needed to make the adjustments so the grid is perfectly centred.

The channel began all because of a problem I had when I had to insert images into a Word Document. I couldn’t find a way to drag and drop multiple images into a table without them expanding across the page, being cropped or interfering with the rest of the text. It wasn’t until I finally sat down one day, determined to find the solution and developed a way to solve the problem. Having found the problem quite difficult to solve without knowing how to do it I decided to make a You Tube video about it. Never once believing that many people would watch it, let alone be so grateful.
After discovering how helpful a simple tutorial could be I decided to make further videos with the aim of once again helping as many people as possible.

Madam, Great Explanation regarding gridlines. Madam Can u Tell me How to merge gridlines just like our normal table in MS word. For typing matter in equidistance using gridlines

When I try to do the gridlines it always leaves half a grid & I cannot get the double arrow back to move the ruler, It stays as a cursor pointer. I know its me messing it up, love the way you explain everything. Your trying to teach an old dog new tricks here. If you've any advice I would be grateful.
