Been in three partnerships:
Once with a mortgage company, back in 2007, one of the partners was committing fraud the whole time...

Second, I was pulling ALL the weight and carried them along because I was hoping this would teach them and pull out that Tiger ambition. It didn’t half quit in the first year, the others just quit caring as much...

Third, was in a firm I started 10 years ago. It’s been just me the last 8.5 years or more...

Not jaded, just highly informed! The first I couldn’t have done alone. The last two, I could’ve started alone, indubitably!

So true some business partner is just passive and waiting for you to do all the 90% of the work but they took the share of 50/50 which I’m so done, recently I felt so burnt out doing a startups business with one of my co-clients he’s also my friend and someone whom I can consider as brother just like family members but we just ended or would say freeze our business partnerships with him cos I felt like I’m pulling a cow 🐄 all the time teaching him on how to close sales somehow it affected our friendship and we went into frictions of disagreements. I’m going to start it without him next year

This video is like seeing light at the end of a dark tunnel. I have a business venture and I am so confused thinking that I need a business partner for my new venture. I am afraid of conflicts, and one thing for sure is that we don’t know our partners as we will know our girl friend. I never want to do anything which can become a headache. I am more clear now watching this video. I rather go solo, if the boat sink then is my boat and I’ll know how far I can go. Piece of mind is important. One advise is when your business start showing profit hire people, is easier to fire wrong doing staff than firing your partner. Remember that sometimes the picture is not as it look.

Yes, my husband had a female business partner who was older than him and tried coming on to him, and it was a mess, lol. She was a friend of his family. My husband has now gone solo and has some great employees helping him. 👏
