Ngl you deserve more views and likes.. this is the most thorough review I’ve come across except the last video and that was yours too! ❤

I am here because Home Depot did not have an 8260 in store today (even though they thought they had 2). How lucky that I found this review.
The compact Milwaukee 3ah will probably do very well in this tool. I really appreciate your content.

Just as a suggestion, when you do your bar graphs, can you arrange them from best to worst? Like the highest RPM being the farthest to the left and the slowest being to the farthest right? Just easier to see and understand which ones are better abs makes the graph more linear.
Anyway...
Great video, love the testing and it feels good when you see the tool you bought do well in said tests.

Bought the dremel 8250 because of the brushless motor and bosch battery, the switch failed on the first day. Hopefully it was just a defect with the unit i had. Haven't had problems with the milwaukee.

You should mention that the 8250 is the only one with a brushless motor. It is brand new - May 2022 while the Milwaukee is 10 years old.

Does the M12 use Dremel's flexi shaft ?

Wonder how Ryobi's newer 12v with removable(?) lithium USB would compare or the new brushless 18v

Looking at buying one of these units my only concern is the physical size of these things they are almost like a cordless drill minus a handle

Dremel 8220 is on sale on Amazon for $80 currently, plus another 5% off with an Amazon charge card or account.

I have burnt up two of the m12 rotary tools each with less a few hours on them. The second one happened two days ago and started smoking in my hands and completely died while cutting a small piece of steel.

One nice thing are Dremel is that there are a lot of add-ons for it like guides (router, 45 degree, plunge router adapter etc). Do these fit the M12?

I wonder how the milwuakee m12 rotary tool would perform with the new 2.5Ah High Output battery, i already have a percussion drill Milwaukee M12 line (M12FPDX) and 2x2Ah + 1x6Ah battery so now i am currently deciding whether i should go for the Dremel 8260, 8250 or just go for the Milwaukee rotary tool.

you should try the 6ah bosch batterys. Too see if you get the same power increase

you do know there is a Brushless version of the Milwaukee tool and it now has the wrench for the Collet like the Dremels in the top cap. It's $129 at Home Depot but I'm sure you could find it cheaper it's model # is 2525-20.

Another interesting video, presumably the larger capacity batteries can maintain a higher cutting speed and torque under load. Shame about the Ryobi, it looked like a reasonable setup. Proxxon are quite readily available in the UK and very popular amongst home-based machinists. They are usually good quality and offer a number of their own accessories, hence the non-standard fit. Not too bad a price, £175 for the kit in the UK.
