I've had my 1996 since it was new and it has never quit on me yet. Probably close to 350, 000 miles by my estimate, the odometer quit ten years ago at 200, 000. They are tough little trucks.

anything with a 5 speed is Gold a 4cycle is even more Gold looks to have good oil pressure. A truck is a work a ton of money it can make money in hauling trash scrap cardboard it be quilty. But now this not junk this one be worth paying the money it has the old dash takes 10 to 20 mins to change the heater core compared to the 4-6 hours doing the heater core in a 1995 and up

Hey Harvey, its just too bad you are so far away I need a power plant and trans for a hand built 34 ford pickup that I have a few things completed. I just think that a 4 cyl ford would be cool because they would have been built with one not so new but you know ! Oh well I hope it finds a good home ! How is your wrist / hand doing ?

I've got an extended cab one with a blown headgasket. Bought it with a car that paid for both and made a nice profit so basically I own it free. Messed up texas title with it. I have battled myself about scrapping it because it just isn't worth the time and effort to fix it AND fix the title problems. I just hate to throw it away. It is a little rough around the edges but only has 118k miles. I really should get it outta my yard. Lol.
