How well does Windows 11 run on the Microsoft Lumia 950XL mobile phone? This is the developer preview with experimental features. Including x86-64bit emulation support. Testing emulation of 64bit and 32bit Windows applications, with comparisons to some ARM apps.

My favorite 2014 game alien isolation was ported to phone.
It runs on s9 845 and up...

That level will now be the expectation of arm users. 😊

This project along with the Renegade Project (supports more modern snapdragon SOCs) is great to see. I have somewhat of an obsession with UMPCs and little laptops. The modern ones from GPD are still just a bit too big. I would like to put something together with a oneplus phone running windows and a little keyboard.

I wonder how well Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA) runs on this? I would hope someone has produced an ARM-native WSA!
Also, I suspect Microsoft efforts to support ARM might have something to do with the large number of Apple Mac users running Bootcamp and Windows on Apple hardware, and the recent move from Apple away from Intel to (ARM based) "Apple silicon".

Good way to repurpose an old windows phone! Very nifty. I wanted to run windows on my HTC Hero 200 through limbo but due to hardware limitations the farthest I’ll get is probably POSReady 2009…
