In this video I show you how to test phosphates (PO4) with the Sera GmbH Test kit for aquariums, how to test the water to ensure that the phosphate is below the recommended levels and won't damage the fish, turtles or shrimp you keep in an aquarium, pond or pool, and it's enough to cover the needs of your plants.
In the US and other countries, the standards establish that drinking water should not have more than 0.1 mg/l of phosphate, and that aquifers containing more than 5 mg/l is detrimental for living organisms.

Informative! I am not getting a change in color, so am i having bellow 0.1 mg/L ?

If the first test shows greater than 2, then if you get a reading of .5 on the secong. that does not mean you have .5. Doesn't it mean 2.5 ?
