Shifting to a New Water Management Approach

Increasing stress and risks on water supplies necessitates new tools and approaches to water resources management. In the face of these 21st century water challenges, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) has adopted an OneWaterSF approach to managing water resources for long-term resiliency and reliability. The SFPUC has successfully cultivated a shift at the utility from thinking about one project at a time to thinking more holistically about the synergies and resource potential across water, wastewater, and energy boundaries. The SFPUC exemplifies the One Water perspective that all water has value by promoting conservation, producing fit for purpose water, pushing the innovation envelope with decentralized onsite non-potable water systems, and more.

wow, comprehensive, doable, and detailed. I fear it's more than the historically popular paradigm, but evolution is needed. There are reasons to share this and develop this where applicable, first here on "Social" media then in the streets as they say.
I suggest this be simplified for primary school consumption, and duplicated for college level. Even better, used in governmental application. If nothing else but a sneak peek as to what will be used in the future and planning be viewed.
