Honestly that is how ALL RJ45's should be assembled!

Category 7/Class F cable is not recognized by the TIA. Cat7 didn't catch on very well with most manufacturers; most hardware produced supports 8P8C rather than the GG45 or TERA for 10 Gigabit Ethernet products in order to function on Cat6a.

We are 2 CAT generations away from having a thick and unmanageable cable as the first Ethernet cable was!

Didn’t know you can do that without an RJ45 crimp. Neat!

I like this mildly better than the previous design used by TrueCable for their “tool-less” shielded cat6 keystones. My biggest complaint with them was using a ziptie to keep the assembly secure, this solved that by adopting the threaded cone and butterfly construction of fiber connectors. I dig it for shielded applications even if cat7 is of questionable use for 98% of consumers. 🍻

Remember - the only people using cat7 are amateurs and home users. Professionals are wiring commercial buildings with cat6a.

CAT.7 has no RJ45 if you put an RJ45 connector on it it's just CAT.6A. GG-45 for CAT.7. Buy a cheaper CAT.6A in the first place or a CAT.8 cable both are RJ45 compatible. I don't get why people still use CAT.7

I love the part where you remove the grounding insulation instead of connecting it properly, making for a worse connection than one that wouldn't have grounding at all.

Don't forget to use Quality LEVITON Berk-Tek cables

Well that's interesting never seen those before

They cut off a little from the main bay, three meters were needed.

Cool connector! It looks pretty expensive

I don’t bother with cat7 but I think we can all agree this seems miles better than crimping rj45. Even with pass through it’s a nightmare. Though punching down cat6 is probably easier and the easiest rj45 crimp to do is the one you never have to because you just bought correctly sized patch cables

Hi electrician and network specialist here. Please don't use that cable in any of the locations I service. With that crappy shield connection, it's gonna be a hell of a time to find and rip out.

lol not shielded.... from the company that makes the field term connecters I would have figured they would show the proper way to install it instead of the fly-by-night way

I found a 1000ft of cat7 marked down to $40 at micro center a few years ago. Wired my whole house in it. Honestly it was easier to do than the regular connectors for ethernet connects. I have 2.5 gig running to everything in my house lol. Only my pc uses 2.5 everything else only takes 1gig at most. Over kill sure. But i was worried about plasma table and welders in my garage putting out high frequencies while being used being disruptive to the cables running to my pc from my garage

Huh I guess I’m old now because I have never seen this method or I’m so used to using the old school way😂

Какой крутой и дорогой кабель. В России такие кабеля не видел.
