You're missing the brown pair on your test. It shows that you missed it. Obviously didn't do a good crimping job or you have a damaged wire.

As someone who makes off RJ45's on a daily basis, in varying different guises. This is ok. Why cut the already stripped cable off the end? And with flush cutters is just squashing the cable before cutting. Shears are a must. The centre strength member could be cut nearer the butt of the outer sheath, which would tidy it up, especially as it's a transparent connector. No need to cut it so many times either, just straighten those conductors out and put the 'gate/sorter/divider' on the end, then cut to length. It's not like you're terminating a CAT6, and need to have a staggered gate to feed them into.
People dont half make a meal out of CAT5 UTP RJ45's

if by "best" you mean the most steps, then I can agree.

The bit of outer plastic you first cut off in order to expose the twisted pairs can be used to separate each pair by just sliding it in-between and twisting

I just want an all in one crimper for rj45, terminal lugs and ferrules.

Wow, wish this came out in the early 90's when I ran structured cable!😢

Looks more robust and is easy to assembly. Do they make it shielded too ?

I like the snapless tang as thats always a pain in the IT server room. The non-passthrough is a bonus, most AV cable pullers dont use them anyways. The integrated boot is also handy.

Most people dont need shielded because crimp terminals are only supposed to be for short run patch leads. S/FTP is almost always solid core, which you arent supposed to crimp as its designed for IDC terminals (ie patch panel to patch panal installed cabling). I have some stranded S/FTP but its really niche and hard to get hold of (in reliable brand, non-CCA crud). Shielded cables also only need shield attached on one side otherwise loooong ground loops can be created which is just as bad.

These are pretty cool, but I'm a fire alarm guy and umfortunately the length of these wouldn't work for us because they would stick out so far the cabinet wouldn't close on most of the panels we use. Otherwise I would give them a try. It's funny how so many people have such rude things to say to each other. I say anyone getting mad or upset should just get used to stupid comments, because it's 2024 and everyone has the spotlight with social media, and anyone can leave a comment on videos now too.

These connectors are not idiot-proof enough for my taste. I like the Phoenix Contact VS-08-RJ45 better - no special tools needed. It tells you on the little bag how much to strip back on the cable, with a little measuring guide on the bag itself. The connector has little blades that bite into the wires and holds a connection much better because of that. You can also clamp down on the little wire holders to ensure good contact before tightening the nut at the end of the connector to set it in place. Also, it works for shielded cables and 1Gbps cabling. I like easy shit.

I haven't seen cable that skinny in an age. Nothing less than Cat. 6a F/UTP at work.

Super. Are you doing phone or old school, or are two connections bad or is your cable tester maybe set for another Rj? 💙 T.E.N.

Naah! Not at all. This is a hectic & tedious RJ45 Plug.
I've seen a very simple RJ45 Plug than this one.

Это конечно круто, но очень медленно… и много мелких частей, попробуйте на морозе обжать таким коннектором, замерзшими руками
Или когда надо обжать 50 проводов под видеонаблюдение, только лишний гемморой
