Right. So a child dies during a concert from a near infinite number of potential causes, and people just assume it’s the instrument. Was there an autopsy to determine cause of death?

I’d like to know if there is any known mechanisms by which the sound could be harmful. A citation would be nice.

Edit: did some googling. To the surprise of no one, it’s not magic and the dangers were grossly exaggerated by a superstitious populous. The only danger mentioned that was slightly accurate was a feeling of dizziness. The instrument plays in a hertz range where it is difficult for a listener to determine where the sound is coming from; this could potentially result in a feeling of dizziness

Bullshit. It's one of the best instrument sound is very sweet nostalgic like music. If a thing is banned it doesn't mean it's harmful and governments are some God like entity who don't do mistake. Plus if any one don't like it dont hear it.

I think the only dangerous part about it was the bowls shattering when played too hard. Theres a video documentary of a man playing his and he explains during a showing he broke a bowl and it cut his finger quite bad. He also explained that blood makes the same sounds water does on the bowls.
