Protein French Toast!

Add more protein to your breakfast with this easy and delicious Protein French Toast Recipe!
Ingredients (Makes 2 servings)
4 slices sprouted grain bread
3 eggs
1/3 cup egg whites
1/3 cup milk of choice
1 Tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp cinnamon
1 scoop protein powder (I like chocolate!)
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 375F
Chop bread into bite-size pieces then arrange in a pre-greased 8x8 baking dish
Whisk together eggs, egg whites, milk, maple syrup, cinnamon & protein powder, until smooth
Pour egg mixture over bread and mix until bread is evenly coated.
Drizzle with a little extra maple syrup (optional)
Bake uncovered for 25-30min at 375F
Let cool slightly then top with fresh fruit and/or chopped nuts of your choice
Enjoy!
