There’s no point in being like other guitar channels. Your experience and opinion is what makes you good - not your budget or access to expensive gear. Don’t stop being Dylan.

Modding/upgrading is a fun part of the hobby. It can teach you so much. Through modding cheap guitars I've learnt enough that I never need a tech.

I watch pretty much all of your videos mate. You and a few other guitar channels are an inspiration to me. You’re the one who first taught me about the importance of scale length for different guitar tones. So thank you very much for that. I hope you guys continue to do well. :)

Love your channel. My boy and I are finishing our first guitar together and we learned a lot from you. We will post a pic of it on your FB when we are done. It's not perfect, but it was a labor of love, thanks.

This was a really great concept and generous to make it a part of the giveaway. Thanks to the guy who sent the pickups and patrons to make this possible.

Theres a really great discussion in this video. Very valid points were made on your trip to the store. We all have that guitar that means more to use than anything. Cheers. Awesome selection for the EMG project.

Thank you for sharing your experience and what you do for the guitar community! In the spirit of you buying the Jackson to put the EMGs in, I had bought a Squier Bullet Tele and upgraded it to what I wanted (with your four-way harness), good pickups, and better machine heads. Without your inspiration and teaching content, that would not have been as accessible. Keep up the good work, and stay safe.

I like your daily videos. You give a fresh perspective on guitar construction, what really matters and what doesn't. Thanks again!

I've been following your channel for a few weeks. I just got into the world of modding, and I'm working on a Japanese Aria Pro 2, got to your tone pot video, and stayed. You are a truly amazing person. Best regards from Puerto Montt, Chile, South America. I hope I can meet you in person someday, and say in person how grateful I am for your videos.

Regarding your last point, I would ask some music teacher at some school for a kid who would benefit from a guitar. A kid who's family is struggling to make ends meet because of the covid situation. A kid who's scared at home trying to get their mind out of the reality and that feeling of "the world is falling apart". A kid who loves music, yet can only afford a 20 bucks acoustic guitar.

Keep on doing your amazing content, and stay safe. Thanks for your videos.

Its tough to find pointed guitar that's not chipped )) Very excited to see another project. Thanks for all your hard work and great content. I agree that your giveaways should go to someone who really needs it and kudos to your friend for donating his guitar 🤟

I didn’t know any Guitar Centers were open. They are all closed here in the Portland area. You should have played Stairway to make the workers feel like things were normal.
Did you check to make sure you could add a battery in the Jackson? It looks like there isn’t a lot of room taken up by the pots etc.

These ideas you have about giving back and doing good work and passing on the knowledge that you have to others is why I watch your channel. I hope who ever gets the guitars you build does what you hope. As for me, I have what I can use. I have an old guitar that cost me next to nothing to get but by watching you, I learned how to do a set up, upgrade the electronics, pick decent strings and I have one that plays the way I want it to. That's all I ever wanted and all I need. Pick someone that maybe can't even afford a cheap guitar from another country and give your creations to them. I am happy for you and wish you all the best.

This is such a cool idea. It’s exactly the dilemma I have, but not that I can’t always afford a better guitar, but that I’m not good enough to warrant it. I’m starting to do my own small mods thanks to you. And giving these upgraded guitars away is such a nice thing to do.
