How do you do this if you have multiple locations in the file that the name can be placed? i.e., in your example, it would be multiple locations to be assigned to that are in multiple contiguous ranges

You use the list in a column. Is it possible to use the same list in different cells that they are not in the same column. For example i want to use the list in cells D3 to D7 (as you do) but also in cells A3 to A5.

Good video. How would I use same list on multiple tabs? For example... baseball roster. 100 kids, 10 kids per team. I would like to pull 10 kids with drop down on a tab, then go to the next team tab, and have it use the remaining names of player. Then next tab only sees remaining names. How would one do this?
