I get asked on social media a lot about how to get into Fate, how series X is related to series Y, y'know stuff like that. At first I didn't wanna make a Fate guide since there's a few others out there, but after some convincing from my twitter followers I decided to make one anyways: this video is therefore dedicated to everyone who's ever asked me about Fate stuff on social media, haha.
This video would've been out a few weeks sooner, but MAN Three Houses is a great game. I've been super hooked on it the last few weeks, haha.

Recently (and against all odds) Fate/Stay Night FINALLY got an official English language release. I plan on updating this guide accordingly, hopefully soon. In the meantime, I'll leave this guide up, just know that since it's been posted Fate/Stay Night has been made officially available in English.

One problem with starting with Zero: It'll shape people's perspectives of what Fate should be and likely lessen their enjoyment of Stay Night. A common argument I see is that Shirou is an immature, naive idiot and that Kiritsugu is cooler and smarter. Because anime can't adapt the protagonist's narrative voice, a lot of Shirou's characterization and development get shafted.

Here is how I got into Fate. I saw a picture of Archer, thought he was hot af, saved the picture, reversed image searched it, and the rest was history. You could say... that my *Fate* was sealed.
