When the anthem won't play, the fans sing it anyway!

Technical difficulties in 6A regional playoffs between the Katy Lady Tigers and the Brazoswood Lady Buccaneers prevents the playing of the national anthem. The fans don't accept it and begin singing the anthem on their own!

To be honest, that’s the way it always should be. I’ve been to sporting events where the National Anthem is played from a recording over the PA system, and there’s only that one little elderly lady singing the words. We owe it to our fallen to sing the words every time it is played.

If this doesn’t make you a proud American, nothing will. The fact that a crowd of people was able to spontaneously come together, find a key, and sing the national anthem to the end shows what patriotism is all about.

Makes me proud to be from Texas. We had a nearly identical incident happen at a game in Buffalo, Texas a couple months ago with the exact same outcome.
