You are saying the truth, Gabriel. You are authentic and integrated, your energies express that. You know... :-)

Spot on, God is not some old Man up in the sky judging us. God is conscious /universe.

I agree. Be open, but nothing wrong with questioning certain things.

It is my perception that the biggest misconception about God is that He can be FULLY understood through the lens of just one religious system, or system of thought/discipline, though some religious systems/disciplines certainly seem to lend more truth, greater insight, and direction than others, or perhaps the truths they do contain are just more directly and clearly stated. I feel perfectly comfortable saying that not one of them is 100% accurate or truthful, not by a long shot, but much of what is inaccurate or outright falsehood, is given to teach us discernment, and through all of it, we must also learn to honor our own intuition and observations, and to think morally, rationally, and to always act in accordance with the moral law, in all of its implications...

Bill Donahue( Hidden Meanings) has some terrific insights into the allegory pertaining to the info in the bible, and that it is not intended to be understood literally. He is, in my humble opinion, an awesome, "out of the box" teacher of bible study. ~Peace~

In a way I think you and that lady are both right (though she is maybe right by accident :)). If you could indeed follow God's will exclusively I think you would find that Will would ask you to do what YOU want on the whole, taking account of your effect on others, and learning to become more you and more complete and loving.

there is some truth in what you say, but should there be a question mark at the end of your title ? :)
