You missed a colossal difference between the 2. The position of the blade in relation to the body grip point of the tool. The one with the slim head has the blade much closer to the center, which leads to less torsion in the hand when cutting, meaning that you can use it with one hand. I speak of this difference from the experience, I have with both models

for me a cordless grinder would be used too long requiring lots of battery. Have to stick with a cord. And a battery, big enough to run for a while, such as that flex bolt, it would be like swing in a car battery. Lol
