DEWALT 4.5' ANGLE GRINDER 20V MAX- TOOL REVIEW TUESDAY!

Показать описание
Today's Tool Review Tuesday episode features the 20V Dewalt 4.5" Angle Grinder. This cordless tool features a kickback brake as well as an E-Clutch system. The brake will sop the grinding wheel in approximately 2 seconds. The paddle switch safety trigger is a great feature for staying safe and is easy to use. There are many grinding wheel accessories to choose from which are great for pavers, concrete, tile, steel, and aluminum. I didn't see any improvements needed on this tool. I recommend a larger 20V battery such as the 5Ah or 6Ah to give you the best battery life.

Question of the day: Do you need a grinding wheel without a cord or is an electric model working okay? What accessory wheel do you use the most, and for what purpose?

This tool is provided as part of the ProSpective Program with The Home Depot. I want to say thank you to them as well as the DeWalt Tool Company for providing the 20V Angle Grinder and sponsoring this video.

Great review, I want to purchase one for general farm use, sharpening mower blades, taking out old wire fence, etc. Thanks!

Great video Mark. It looks to have more power then my plug in unit. We use the angle grinder for welds, cutting off bolts most of the time, and there is always use for the angle grinder with a wire brush to clean things. Cordless would be a great thing to add to power tools.

Great review. It was a hard choice between this model & a crowded model for because they cordless has 9000RPM while the corded had a big more power at 1100RPM so I opted for corded especially since I will be using for long periods of time. Thank you

I use the flap disc's for everything hardly use hard wheels any more I also use 6" dewalt cutoff wheels no guard that's a combo wheel you are using good for cleaning edges of weld's berries etc.

Very good review you actually went out and do a field test. Not like most of these guys that just un-box take a look at it make some comments... and probably return it haha!

Good video but I would include showing how you change the discs as part of how you use it.

How long will the battery last with heavy use? I'm thinking of buying it to grind the stubborn thin set off of my subfloor.

I wish you would have shown how to remove and replace the guard, I just bought one to add to my 6 other 18v dewalt grinders which are easy to change and this thing is a miserable one to change

Are paddle switches annoying for cutting as I will mainly be using my grinder for cutting

Just bought one. Did not have a nut to attach wheels. Am I missing something or do I need to take it back?

Just bought one, on sale at Amazon (30MAR2020), came in a bag plus 2 60v Flex batteries. I will using it around the house and RV trailer.
Do they make different cutting disc for wood only, or can I use any cutting disc for plywood and some solid 4x4?
