As far as I can tell, Penn Foster and Ashworth College got rid of the student community. Why? Now, students are further isolated and alienated. I'm an alumni of both schools, and I was thinking of enrolling again, but after they gutted the online student community, I will be looking elsewhere. UoPX and SNHU are similar in cost and have vibrant student communities, including many clubs to join. Penn Foster and Ashworth College have disappointed me in recent years. The student portals are stripped down and barebones also, which bothers me. I will not be returning as a student until both schools actually cater to students again by providing a great online student community within the school.
