Yess it's work, most of the mobile doesn't show that option so for that you just go to about phone in settings and enable developer option then search for minimum width in developer option, after that set it's Value to 500 dp; you can also increase it.
But, remember your default Value of minimum width to get back to your normal screen.

It doesn’t work if secondary device is iPhone and in my case my dad has iPhone 14 pro max as main and iPhone 7 Plus as secondary phone so both iPhone lol so yea it doesn’t work if secondary device is iPhone WhatsApp should fix this.

Not showing link device. Only help option is there

For those not working....enable developer options and change minimum width to 600 then you will find link device opt linking change minimum width back to default

It will only work if your primary phone is iphone and secondary is Android.
