This knot can be used in everyday life, a great knot for the jobsite, and overall excellent for retrieving your rope or isolating frays in a rope. Great for Camping, Prepping, Survival and Bushcraft.

I tie all these knots with Paracord, and they are considered Survival knots, bushcraft knots and camping knots.

Wether you want to learn how to tie down a tarp, how to set up a tent, what to do with a fray or cut in your rope, or how to join two ropes together - this is the guide for you!

This is awesome. Not only will it almost certainly be handy whenever camping or surviving for real, it's just an all around great life skill as you said. I was actually just moaning to my brother yesterday about how I have to cut/re-tie all the training lines I've got keeping my plants tied down in my medical grow whenever I had to move them. This should not only nicely solve that problem for me _and_ give me plenty of practice for the day I may need to use this in a life or death situation!

That is a great knot. It nearly puts no stress to the leash, spreads the load around the rope, holds well and is easy to release. If knots deserves remembering, this is one of them.

Sheetbend, and double sheetbend. I've used it multiple times. Very useful.

This is one super knot. I'm so blonde I had to watch the video about 12 times to get it right, but I finally connected my broken retractable washing line without the knot slipping! Thank you - problem solved!

I use the Sheet Bend ALL THE TIME in my career as a Boilermaker, the doublesheet bend is especially useful in wet conditions preventing slippage and the bend from coming undone during use !!!!

the two loops are mainly used for when you want to join two ropes of different diameter together. The thinner rope is the part that does the extra loop so it doesn’t get pulled through the bight of the thicker rope under load.

Wow!! This reminds me my training as a Boy Scout. Sheet bend, clow hitch, fisherman's knot, draw hitch, one round turn & two half hitches, chairman harness knot, reef knot etc etc.😅

The sheetbend is an essential. But if I'm looking to permanently join 2 ropes of the same diameter, the double fishermans is my knot of choice. It's a good looking knot too.
