Great ideas! My descending legato has always been more difficult due partly to having a short pinky- I can cheat on hammer ons with more hand shifting but can’t with descending

I may be in the minority, but descending legato has always been far easier for me than ascending... especially the string transitions.

Jon, do you always keep two fingers on when pulling off? I do the two finger method at slower tempos, but when I'm playing fast, I only have one finger on at a time and only add the other fingers when they are needed. Basically, reverse hammer-ons, if that makes sense.

Hey, how do I speed things up? Do I slowly raise the tempo and make sure that I only progress when I can play 100% accurate at the given tempo? Or do I integrade speed-bursts as well?
