Man, as an older dude who grew up listening to guys like Holdsworth, Gambale, Garsed, etc., it's so awesome watching guys like Joshua, Matteo, Robbie Barnby, etc. come along and be the new wave of jazz and fusion. Shredders are a dime a dozen (and seemingly all of them immensely gifted technically nowadays, lol), but these guys are the special sauce. Amazing song, Joshua. Watching you slay those chord changes so cleanly and with such wonderful voicings you've chosen is just so, so killer to behold. Reminds me of the first time I heard one of Jody Fisher's improvisations.
