I'm so sorry you are having a difficult time, Eric. i don't usually comment on your videos, but I often watch and get so much from them. so many of these interactions online pass by in silence, but I just wanted to thank you for being so generous with your time and to wish you well. I hope you have better news again soon. best wishes, Guin

Your beautiful eyes are clearly windows to your soul. Even if you wouldn’t have spoke your eyes say you are suffering. You have brought me much book joy during my challenging times - which I could reciprocate. Breath and take care of yourself.

Sending massive amounts of love- thank you for being so open, and for being such a wonderful presence on BookTube.

This is a fantastic set of books- I hadn’t heard of most of them, which is very exciting indeed! Oldladyvoice sounds right up my street, and is also a description of what happens every time I try to do an accent 😂

Oh Eric, I'm so sorry to see you so down and having such a hard time. You're such a bright and positive light, so it's extra hard to see you upset.
I just want to send you love and hope that you come through this. Do what you have to to cope and if that's buying lots of books, there's no harm in that!

Sorry to hear you've got bad news. I too have used book shopping as a balm! I'm really drawn to the Ozeki but I'm waiting to hear some reviews before committing.

Man - you are SO lucky to live in a community that has a Bookshop Day. Those are the kind of people I'd want to live nearby!!

Hope you'll have a silver lining very soon. Reading usually helps. Thanks for sharing your book haul. Frantzen looks quite intriguing and Ozeki's new book is on my reading list and The Cat Who Saved Books sounds to me like the uplifting read we all need. Take care!
