Thank you so much for this detailed, measured take of life in Saint John. As a dual US-Canadian citizen contemplating leaving the US with my family for NB, I am so glad to have come across your channel!

Speaking for the west side, I moved to Fundy Heights last year and I love it! My partner and I don't have a vehicle but there are busses into Uptown or other parts of the city from here. There are shopping options on foot that are convenient - groceries, hardware stores, pet supplies, etc. The neighbours are friendly and there are lots of lovely places to walk the dog.😊

Great video ... I appreciate your opinion and honesty with these vids. I moved in 2020 to St. Andrews and love it here. I have not felt any racism towards me while living here and actually felt more racism in Toronto/Mississauga/Oakville then anywhere here in NB.

People ask me all the time why I moved back to Canada from the Caribbean, but for the lifestyle I live, the Maritimes is the best place for it! 🙌

To comment on not going on a family doctor waiting list cause you are healthy...for now. Personally, im always on the midset that health is chaotic. You never know what will happen. Genetic and chronic Illness can hit you randomly. So i prefer a preventive approach to be safe.

Anyways, good video. In personally not looking at saint john but Fredericton and Moncton to be closer to family moving there as well. Im verý exicted but nervous !

We have the same point of view on employment, if you're hard working, with integrity there's always going to be work you can find!

Thank you for your attitude and readiness to share it.
Just a couple of practical questions, as we plan to move to SJ in August:
1. Why do you say that you would consider living in the Uptown if you were alone? Is it not good for families with children?
2. The question that worries me most - can you feel the smell from paper factory or refinery in the Uptown?

If you're struggling to get a job, make an appointment with an employment center. They'll at least get you start on what you're doing wrong.

I know the resume you're referencing and it was the worst resume i ever seen as well, Poor kid had two weeks scooping ice cream as experience. I think he got connected with The Bridge program through key industries which will definitely help him gain practical skills and improve his resume.

Lived on all side of this city and West is best. Lots of shops and a more chill safer vibe.

The best thing about Saint John is it's white population. Diversity killed Toronto. Was a white city when my Father grew up working there. Minority white now. How is this to my benefit ?
