Dan, your take on the Georgia case is wrong. Under your position, people who commit crimes under state and federal laws should not be prosecuted by the state if a federal prosecution is underway. That makes zero sense and your opinion pieces about how some people will regret the GA prosecution are just ridiculous. Different laws were broken, states have rights to independently prosecute crimes in their jurisdiction. Timing is something to consider, but whether to bring a case or not should not be the issue based on the federal matter filed first. You challenged a guest to see if he thought every state where a crime was committed should indict the former President and the answer is yes! The DOJ policy deals with preservation of judicial and federal resources and allowing procedural due process, which is a timing thing. So the DOJ policy doesn’t stand for the extreme position you take. Cheers!
