Jungle master. It has a serrated edge for sawing and it also has a loop in the hilt making it much easier to lash to a pole to create a spear for defense and hunting.

I don't think this guy is surviving an extreme survival situation...

The longer one looks like a one hitter quiter the shorter one looks like they'll have time to question themselves afterward if running up on you was worth it 🤔 I'm torn

Got to go with old timer. The Schrade has a full tang. It won't break when batoning firewood. That weak handle is the point of failure on the jungle knife. I just can't trust it.

Jungle Master, reason being is the Jungle has the ridges on top, could use for sawing.

Depends on the terrain. American forest, an ax. Bowie can work but I’ll need to bring knife care tools. In the jungle, machete all the way. Serrated sounds good in theory, but after a long hike and I’m worn out, sawing gets too tough to do. Chopping uses less energy and for the most part you’re utilizing wood that only requires a few chops to get through.

For me it would depend on the differences in hardness, but if they were both equal on the hardness scale ... a serrated blade offers more utility than a non-serrated blade.

I think I would take the jungle Master with the settated blade, in which case you had to cut up some tree limbs or something for fire wood.
