He's hated by those too young to remember the legendary games that made him famous. His last couple of offerings haven't been great but if you grew up with Syndicate, Populus, Magic Carpet, and Dungeon Keeper there is more than enough goodwill stored up to forgive him for a couple of duds.

Any fan of dungeon keeper with knowledge of where Dungeon Keeper 3 was going will know this game is the game he never got the chance to make with DK3 or 4.

DK3 was supposed to allow us to play on the surface as humans and build their settlements etc.
This seems like that game he wanted to make for DK3 but has just left out the Dungeon crawlers being playable.

So the fact this game is a game he has had planned since the very early 2000’s, I am going to assume he had a clear path for this game and we may possibly get a much more old school Peter Molyneux game that is endless fun.

Most of you don't even know why you hate him. Everything he did was great until Fable 3 which was just ok. Then he screwed up with Godus and everyone claims his whole career was filled with lies. How many of the haters liked his games but hate him because the internet tells them to?

I’m currently replaying fable 2 which was my favorite of the three and please please please let it be exactly the same but with newer mechanics and a larger world and story. This game is perfect.

So happy Molyneux is behind this. There was a time when Fable+B&W2+The Movies were my favorite games. A Godgame in the Fable universe could be amazing.
