The little boy and girl needlework pictures are called "Blue Boy" and "Pinkie." They originated as paintings back in the 18th century, I think. When I started school in 1955, my teacher had framed reproductions of those pictures on the wall of our classroom that she told us about, and I've never forgotten them.

A thought…You should buy some of those items that have little chips and nicks. You could use some IOD molds and make them over to create a unique piece that’s your adorable style. I think you could bring some of these items back to life beautifully!
