that´s the beauty of it. when you live here, you contribute to the health system like everybody else, and therefore you can use it whenever you need it, you already paid for it.

Good move Patricia. I moved to South America in 1991 for the same reasons, and have now retired in Chile. LOVE my life here and all my expat friends feel the same. The US is simply un-livable now. Very nice video. Congratulations for your bravery and making the decisions to improve your life!

I am an American who moved to Nice. I completely agree with her feelings towards France. I have lived in Europe for several years in a few countries. I absolutely hated the Netherlands, and the Dutch were so horrible, racist, and hateful beyond a superficial level that they extend to tourists or in shopping situations. Spain was nice but difficult in regards to making good money well educated Spanish leave oftentimes for the same reason. and the standards of certain things weren't great. France has been amazing. I absolutely love this country, the people, and the cutlure. No where is perfect but for me France is the best place to live. There is a comfort and high quality of life that is amazing. The people have been shockingly kind/ friendly, and it's been easy to meet people, at least in this area, I can't speak for all of France. Each region is different. The amenities where I live are excellent, anything from gyms to restaurants to museums, mountains, and beautiful beaches with amazing food and architecture. It's funny she spoke about a sense of freedom. There is more of a noticeable feel of freedom here compared to other EU countries and the USA that I myself have noticed. I haven't been to America in years and don't miss it at all ever since Maga and Diaper Don turned into a hateful hillbilly hell hole, where the standards of everything slip as they get robbed bling by oligarchs.

Je suis française, quand vous dites que c'est un désert pour avoir un médecin, vous avez tellement raison !
En France, il manque cruellement de médecins, de chirurgiens, des spécialistes, et chaque année, un peu plus malheureusement, car le médecin traitant n'est pas remplacé !😢
Je travaille à l'hôpital et là aussi beaucoup de médecins manque dans les services entre autres aux urgences !
