Don't glue closed you can't store them away. I use paper clips to close on backside so I can let it fold back flat for storage.

I saw white paper bags in Walmart where I bought my paper bags near the ziploc bags

If you glue a string or ribbon along the two end bags that you pull together when done, you can just tie the ribbon together. Then you can untie and fold the bags flat for storage for next year. Just make your string or ribbon longer than the length of both bags then you have a tail to hang them with.

This could be a year-round decoration like with pastels for Easter red and white for Valentine's Day, red white and blue for memorial Day, 4th of July and labor Day and such

I have done them with white paper bags and they look so pretty.

I made them with white bags and put blue lights through them. I used the tiny lights, the one with the batties. Looks great.
