Making snowflakes is fun, but have you ever tried making paper stars? They’re simple, elegant, and can transform a room into a dreamy winter wonderland.

To create a star out of a single piece of paper, make sure it is twice as long as it is wide. Then simply fold back and forth accordion-style, and cut a rounded corner off each end. Next, tie a string around the middle of the folded paper and glue or staple the ends together. It will fan out beautifully. Punch a hole in the top and hang your stars on the tree, around the house, or strung together in a garland.
