Far-Right Nationalism Surges in South African Politics

South Africa's Freedom Front Plus party, whose aim is to establish a white homeland in this majority black country, surprised political observers by winning 10 parliamentary seats in the May elections. That result has vaulted the party to prominence for the first time, and highlights how extremists are edging into the mainstream of South African politics. VOA's Anita Powell reports from Klerksdorp, South Africa.

All the minorities are afrikaans speakers 80% coloureds speak Afrikaans, 61% white Boers Dutch, French and German decent speak Afrikaans, and lastly 40% of South African Indians speak Afrikaans

I fall into that category myself because I can speak English and Afrikaans both equally

In a continent where chaos reigns wanting order is extremist. The ff+ is not extreme they merely want to restore order. SA has become extremely chaotic and corrupt as was predicted 60 years ago. And that because of third world thinking and people like the "political analyst". What astounds me is why are people like him not feeling embarred being part of the group that struggled to get the third world.government in charge. Only reason can be that he still believes the third world can create prosperity.
