New Paslode Framing Nailer CFN325XP

Paslode has a long history of making awesome cordless nailers. This new CFN325XP is the latest iteration of the lineup. Make sure you are following my instagram (@)rrbuildings, because I will be giving away some new guns soon. While there are many options out there in the cordless framing nailer segment, after using them all it's pretty obvious to see why paslode is still a leader in the industry.

Pasloade the best framing nailer ever Mande.
I’m a framer/home remodeler by trade here in Nc
I’ve run Hitachi pneumatic nailers
Build Thousands of homes apartments, national guard buildings you name it I’ve done, Hitachi is good stuff. But nothing beats the convenience of a cordless nailer.
I own the older model, I can take it a part completely, clean her up put it back together in 15 minutes and boom 🤯 like new she never miss a beat.
Great nailer

Just a Heads-Up if you're considering a Paslode fuel cell nail gun whether it's a framing nailer or finish nailer. I bought both a few years ago and was pretty happy overall. You do have to clean them fairly regularly in order for them to function and you need to make sure your fuel cells are not out of date. I initially got both when I built an addition on my house but now being a weekend warrior and volunteer I don't use them as often. MY BAD according to Paslode. They no longer provide fuel cell cartridges for either of my guns. They replaced the cells with new ones that have a different adapter on them. For a very short period of time Paslode provided a new adapter to use with my older guns with the newer fuel cells *(the only ones you can now get). If you didn't buy the newer fuel cells with the included adapter for the older Paslode guns you are out of luck. Paslode only provided the adapters for their new fuel cell cartridges for older Paslode guns for a short time. They no longer include the adapters and there is NO WAY to get them. After calling customer support multiple times you are pretty much SOL. You can have a great working, cleaned and lubricated older Paslode gun but no access to fuel cells that work with them. How about them apples? SO JUST BEWARE if they did it once to all of us that previously purchased their older guns there's no telling how willing they'll be to screw you over in the future with even newer and better fuel cell cartridges that won't work with the current Paslode guns they sell. The customer is always right is not something in their vocabulary. So I will never be purchasing Paslode products in the future based on them not providing fuel cells or newer fuel cells with adapters to work on older guns. U N B E L E I V A B L E ! ! ! How hard would it be for them to provide the adapters to older Paslode gun owners??? Seriously?!?!? Check out the Paslode forums to see that many of us got screwed by Paslode. as I guess they want you to throw away your older working guns to buy their newer guns. S T A Y A W A Y from companies that do that to you. Not a Happy Paslode Camper!

I have 3 pasalode nailers. LOVE ALL 3 OF THEM. Framer is the oldest and getting to the point, I need to replace.it
I am going to go on Monday to see if this model is in stock and if it's available. If it is I'm buying.3 of them along.with nails and fuel. Thanks Kyle for the time you took to demo and cover this framer. Be safe, stay warm.

What's up man. Your the best builder that I don't know. I have learned a lot from you. Mainly on tik tok. So be it. Any how, man the guy that trained me used the old paslode I just bought the new one that you got now. I love it, it's so light....I'm a roofer. I'm reaching over my head alot. Trusses right. Then gotta mention the hook. The hook works well with my cargo pants. It never falls off. I say that because I work out of Detroit where I work on 2 and 3 storied homes often....My main goal is to buy lighter weighted tools. My hammer works like a 28, but balances and feels like a 14. Great gun man. It never jams with the paslode cartridges.

Great idea to hit up the Paslode plant and have them take you through servicing.

Good review. I bought a Paslode in the 2000s and still use it for projects from time to time. Mine is pre-lithium battery. The Paslode has a little ignition board in them that actually counts the number of shots. Mine went bad after a couple years and the batteries have since been replaced. Amazon has cheap replacements now so not a big deal. A cordless nailer comes in clinch anytime you’re building and despite its failures I still prefer the Paslode, the loud pop is satisfying.

I bought one when I was taking carpentry class at my local community college, I am going to use it to frame up a 12x20 garage project.

40% less weight = 40% less injuries. If y'all haven't seen the crazy framer throw his Paslode off a three story building and then pick it up and keep framing you should check it out. This gun is rugged.

Can you go over how y’all plan a building? Like coming up with drawing and floor plans. How you figure out your material making sure you have enough.

Paslode vs Milwaukee? What is your preference? I’m looking to get my own cordless nailer as a framer. I’ve only used the Milwaukee in bulk and love it but I know it’s heavy, is Paslode better even having to buy the fuel?

Regarding nailing into an LSL or LVL -- maybe try the MAX high pressure nail gun that they use on the Awesome Framer channel? Tim shows it nailing through pressure treated bottom plates directly into concrete, so nailing through LSLs doesn't seem like a stretch?
