eBike commuting is such a game changer. Totally agree with what Scott said about being faster than driving some days. And beyond just being quicker, I actually look forward to my commute most days. I rode the Bulls Urban Evo and its awesome! I currently have a Haibike Urban S 5.0 bought from Fly Rides, great bike but not too crazy about the thinner tires. The Urban Evo also has a front fork so when I'm running away from my ex-girlfriend who sometimes tries to run me over when she sees me comes in handy.

If you want a superior ebike you just need to find "your" perfect bike and mount a mid-drive on it. The cost of the bike, plus $2000.00 for motor, battery, input control, and a Grin Satiator will build a better ebike than any production ebike.

Most of these bikes cost more than $3000 dollars which is crazy expensive for a bike. I can find a motorcycle for less than 5k, there is no reason a pedal bike with a small electric motor should cost so much.
