I love these light weight single speed bikes, I have a Babymaker 2 which is pretty much the same bike . I get 20 mile rides and still get home with 4 bars of battery power . I can ride 50% of time with motor off . Great bikes for fitness . Nice review of the 6061 .

I just got one of these today, and during the assembly I noticed that the display isn't necessarily inseparable from the stem. The display simply nests into the stem and is held in place by a single fastener. The wires from the display simply go through a hole in the bottom of the stem and there are little connectors. So to relocate the display, all you would have to do is unhook the connectors, take out the little fastener, and the display simply lifts off. You could then relocate it to the handlebars or wherever and replace the factory stem with a standard one. I imagine it will be just a matter of time before there are aftermarket mounts that will integrate the display with a standard stem cap, like we already see with phone mounts. And honestly, it wouldn't take a genius to model a 3d printable display mount that would work with existing stem cap phone mounts, so I would expect to see files for that sort of thing available soon and also be able to get the physical prints on Etsy. State left it so easy to do something like that I almost imagine they kind of intended it.

I love the way when you get tired you can e-bike around

I have this and a couple months I'd like to hear what it is like with use. My experience isn't the most positive. Thin paint wearing off, garbage saddle (replaced), breaks that sounds like a NY subway, loud clicking front end likely a bearing issue, lack of attachment points for accessories. It is super fun to ride but I feel like I got a lemon and the response from State and my dealer is less than appealing.

I think that bike is appealing just because of it being that light weight of a bike being that it's an e-bike.
I also wonder if it would of been better if they went for a 1x7 freewheel set up on the bike so you are able to fine tune your riding with the gears more.

Great review! So is it not on warranty unless you get it professionally assembled?

Does PAS do constant wattage like ride1up or set speed like aventon?

A singlespeed eBike in a hilly area simply means you will go through the battery much quicker and reduce your range. Having gears allows you to get into the right gearing to get the most support from the e-assist. Think of how a manual shift car works. When you need more power to start or get up the hills you want to be at the correct RPM in order to get the most out of the engine. E-bikes work exactly the same, so a singlespeed seems a bit silly.

This bike is currently 800 dollars. Would this be a good bike for steady climbs around 1.5 miles?

Does anyone know what A-1 through A-9 control on the control panel?

I love the lightweight single speed bike thig going on now but I don't like the internal battery trend. I have a Ride1up Gravelster and I love it but for comutting I can't have it locked up outside for long.

brand of fenders? and could a 6'4" person be comfortable on the large size?"

Ride1up Roadster Gravel is the same same except it has gates belt drive so why is this more expensive.

Anyway, point is there are features on the bike that make it more interesting than you see at first glance, it just remains to be seen whether the bike sold enough to do something with it.

250 watt is to small for hills. A 500 watt is more appropriate. Mercedes silver aero sport would be a better choice for hills but their reviews are second to none horrible.
