Calm Place Practice

This practice is designed to help develop feelings of calm and contentedness. This practice is linked to our soothing system and builds on soothing rhythm breathing practice.
It is an imagery practice that allows us to create our own calm place. When we practice slowing down and creating an image of a calm place we can begin to experience feelings of calmness, settling, grounding and contentment. This imagery can therefore be useful for steadying and anchoring our selves in everyday life.
